The Quality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring timely and effective implementation of policies, procedures, and activities involved in assuring the quality of products.
She/he maintains close working relationships with other department managers and supervisory personnel to effectively manage the quality workforce to meet and maintain product quality, identify, solve, and prevent problems affecting product quality, maximize productivity, and comply with regulatory requirements.
Major Position
Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to safety policies and operating procedures.
Interpret, communicate, promote and enforce adherence to company policies.
Collaboration with all Supervisors to coordinate daily plans and utilization.
Prioritize and assign tasks in accordance with daily production requirements and deliveries.
Direct activities of people, material, equipment, supplies and inspection tooling resources to achieve production goals.
Work constructively in, promote, and facilitate a team environment towards the attainment of departmental and company goals.
Initiate or suggest plans to motivate assigned personnel to achieve production schedules and objectives.
Provide information to appropriate levels of the organization through oral and written communication.
Effectively plan and coordinate work schedules regarding vacation, sick time, etc.
Manage and measure proficiency of assigned personnel in the performance of job duties through coaching, counseling and corrective actions, and evaluation of performance.
Provide opportunities and direction for development of subordinates regarding professional growth and succession planning.
Performs annual employee performance evaluation and reviews.
Other duties as requested.
Basic
Qualifications:
HS diploma or GED 5-7 years of supervision and product inspection or related experience.
Experience with the machining/inspection of various types of materials Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T Strong technical and/or manufacturing aptitude (ability to read and comprehend engineering and technical documentation, e.
g.
engineering drawings etc.
) Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and mentor.
Proficient in the use of software products such as MS Office and spreadsheets.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
