Responsibilities:
o Managing a patient's healthcare plan according to the Physician's instructions o Bathing and grooming the patient daily o Checking temperature, blood pressure, pulse and other vital signs o Administering and maintaining a record of all prescribed medication o Checking for infection, bedsores and wounds in the patient o Educating and advising Caregivers in the household o Dressing or redressing wounds and assessing the progress of healing o Developing and improving the healthcare plan in collaboration with other healthcare personnel in the household o Providing palliative care as needed to keep the patient comfortable Knowledge and
Experience:
o Understanding of the principles of nursing o Compassion and empathy skills o Ability to think critically and solve problems o Excellent attention to detail o Time management skills o Organization skills o CPR certificate & LPN license (Required) o Trach/Vent experience (Preferred)Job Types:
